Exploring space and exploring the ocean depths are very alike for two main reasons. The first reason that these two actions are alike is both actions taking place somewhere barren of any human life and whoever takes part in this is separating himself from the world around and going into the unknown. The second reason exploring space and the ocean depths are similar is because both places were the human race has yet to fully explore therefore whoever is exploring will be seeing everything for the first time ever without anyone seeing it before him
