Did you know that F.B.L.A was founded by Dr. Hamden L. Forkner in 1937. As the first chapter meeting was held in Johnson City Tennessee on February 3, 1942!!!

FBLA middle level

FBLA - ML for junior high and middle school students, with over 21,900 members and more than 750 chapters

Funding and endorsements

FBLA PBL is funded by membership dues, conference fees, corporate contributions , and grants. FBLA- PBL is recognized by the Association for career and technical education, international assembly for collegiate business education, national association of parliamentarians, National Association of a secondary school principals, national business education Association, and the U.S. Department of Education.

Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA)

FBLA for high school students, with over 196,950 members in more than 5,200 chapters.

FBLA-PBL bylaws

FBLA-PBL is governed by a set of bylaws, defined and interpreted by the FBLA-PBL board of directors. Each state chapter and local chapter also operates under a set of outlaws.

Academic competitions

FBLA-PBL national award program, commonly called competitive events, recognizes and rewards excellence in a broad range of business and career related areas. Through state-based competition at the springs state leadership conference, members compete in event that test their business knowledge and skills. Top winners in each state are eligible to compete for honors at the national leadership conference each summer.

Awards and recognition

Members build a prortfolio of accomplishments with a wide range of awards programs.

Educational programs

Members create career profolio's, enhance their knowledge with world recognize skills certifications, and have access to select college scholarships.

Members demonstrate their business expert at high-profile regional, state, and national competition events. The top students are recognizable trophies and cash awards.

Community service

Members work with the March of Dimes to help end premature births by participating in awareness campaigns in the March for babies fundraiser.

PBL for college students, with over 8000 members in more than 350 chapters.

PD for FBIA - PBL alumni, business professionals, educators, and parents who support the goal of the association with, over 3,900 members
