Although it may seem like 15 seconds is a very short time, you have to keep in mind our target audience's attention span. You also have to consider how it is more cost effective to make short videos, they are more sharable, and most people use social media solely on their phones where you are constantly scrolling.
What Social Media do Teens Use?
Among teenagers aged 13-17, the most frequently used social media apps are YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Snapchat. YouTube has the highest usage, with 95% of teens using it, followed by TikTok at 67%, Instagram at 62%, and Snapchat at 59%. This information provides valuable insight into where our main marketing focus should lie. While it may seem logical to use YouTube as the primary platform to promote FBLA given its overwhelmingly high usage among our target audience, TikTok may be the more effective choice.
How would we make the video
Another benefit of doing short videos is that they are very cost effective and efficient. Our steps to making these videos would be 1. Identify what aspect of FBLA to market ex1. NFLC Conference 2. Research the aspect ex2. Held in Fall, Where its located, what you can do while on the trip 3. Find pictures/videos of place its located ex3. Orlando, Florida 4. Why you should attend ex4. Networking Opportunities, Fun With Friends, Skill Development 5. Film a short video with a "hook" (attention grabber) in the first 8 seconds ex5. Do you want to skip school while going to Universal? 6. Describe what was previously researched ex6. Highlight how its a school trip anyone in FBLA can take 7. Close out the video with information on how to join FBLA
Competitions
Another big part of FBLA is the competitions you get to attend and be a part of. We can advertise these competitions along with the scholarships you can earn while doing them.

Everyone should know about FBLA. Fbla is an amazing way to develop your skills and maximize your potential in the business world. A wonderful way to give everyone this opportunity is to let everyone know about FBLA and how to join it.
Who's the Target Audience
FBLA's Target audience would be any student who is willing to get involved at their school. Since FBLA's Target audience is school children, the types of posts that you would make to effectively market need to be based around the culture and/or the apps these students use. We can assume that FBLA's target audience are teens aged 13-17.
Where to repost
Many social media websites now have similar short form video content like tiktok ex. Youtube Shorts, Instagram Reels, Snapchat Spotlight We can utilize this and post the same video on each of these websites to allow for the most people to reach, because although their market share not being as high, it is still smarter to do since it'll reach more of our Target audience
What does this mean for marketers
Marketers have a very limited window of opportunity to capture their attention. This means that marketers need to craft content that is immediately engaging and attention-grabbing in order to capture their target audience's interest.
NFLC
Me and my partner attended the National Fall Leadership Conference in November this year and met so many new people. The sole reason I joined FBLA was because of the opportunities I get while being in it that no other club gives. I believe other students are the same, but they have to have the opportunity to learn what FBLA is to join.

Whats reposting
Reposting is exactly what it sounds like, you post the video again, but on a different platform.
When should we post videos?
Studies suggest that strategically posting videos on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays generates significantly more engagement than other days. On TikTok specifically, posting videos between 2-3pm on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays is optimal.
When should we not post videos
Sunday receives the least amount of engagement with Saturday receiving the second least, we should skip both these days and instead focus on the days that receive the most engagement
How many videos should we post
The campaign should post one 15-30 second video per day, skipping Saturday and Sunday. To further increase engagement, two videos should be posted on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

TikTok is the world's most engaging social media platform. With the average time people use TikTok being 52 minutes, and 90% of users revisiting the app more than twice every day. This is a drastically higher time than YouTube's 19-minute average time per user.
Why is Tiktoks engagement better?
TikTok's success in capturing users' attention for extended periods can be attributed to its use of short-form video content, as opposed to YouTube's focus on long-form content. This approach is particularly effective for marketing purposes, as young people tend to have shorter attention spans. Research indicates that the average attention span of a teenager was just 8 seconds in 2013.

To maximize reach, the content/marketing campaign should focus primarily on TikTok

We can do this through social media. Social media is any app or website that allows users to create, publish, and share content. Social media allows for ease of communication between like-minded people. To successfully market FBLA we need to know who we want to reach. This group of people is called your "Target" audience.

How we would make the second instagram post
We can make a small infographic in the 3:4 square format that instagram posts are in We should re use the previous post and condense the information into a single photo while keeping the photo looking organized It should be a summary of what the video was about and feature additional info that may have not been covered in the video
QR Codes/Hyperlinks
We can use make our posts asynchronous by using QR codes and hyperlinks to further direct the consumer to more information on the aspect of FBLA covered in the video or post
copyright infringement
While marketing we need to be weary of the copyright laws that pertain to our state, While making the video we should be careful of the photos we use to market and advertise and if we use a photo we did not take to properly credit them for said photo.
