Greek: 332 B.C. - 142 B.C.
Alexander becomes King of Macedonia in 336 BC and begins to conquer the Persians and takes control of Israel in 332 BC
Assyria: 722 B.C. - 598 B.C.
Assyria conquers the North (Israel) and scatters leaders
Babylon: 598 B.C. - 537 B.C.
Babylon conquered Assyria and controls the North (Israel) while also conquering the South
Egypt - 1650 B.C. - 1250 B.C.
Egypt puts the Israelites into slavery (after Joseph dies) until their escape in 1250 BC
Persia: 537 B.C. - 332 B.C.
Persia defeated Babylon sending Babylonian exiles home and letting Israel have some freedom
Romans: 63 B.C. - 70 A.D.
Rome begins to conquer Greeks in 198 BC and takes over Israel in 63 BC. Later Rome destroys Temple and Jerusalem in 70 Ad and kicks many Jews out of Israel. Israel is now off the map.
