situational irony

Tangled: When Flynn grabs the "Wanted Poster" with his name and picture on it, and is only upset with the way his nose looks.

dramatic irony

Tangled: When Maximus seems to be afraid of Rapunzel, but it's really Pascal that makes him unsettled. Rapunzel doesn't know Pascal is giving the horse a "look".

situational irony

Tangled: When Rapunzel fails to find Flynn attractive despite his best efforts: the opposite of what happens in most fairy tales.

Tangled: When Rapunzel hits Flynn over the head with the pan. We expect the prince to rescue the princess, not the princess protecting herself from the rescuer.

dramatic Irony

Tangled: When Rapunzel pretends that she doesn't see Pascal outside the window. We know she sees him, but he doesn't.

Tangled: When Rapunzel says out loud that she doesn't know where Pascal is, but she does.

verbal irony

when a speaker says one thing but means another(sarcasm)

situational irony

when the result of an action is opposite of the desired or expected effect

dramatic irony

when words and actions posses a significance that the audience understands but the speaker or character does not
