Any person of color couldn't migrate to,or reside in a state, without the agreement with two property owners as sponsors.
If a white school was getting rid of old books, could a black school adopt them for its students' use?
Books were not interchangeable between white and colored schools ,but the first race to use them would be allowed to continue using
Describe ways in which establishing separate black and white schools was unfair?
It was unfair because it treated blacks like second-class citizens, and the classroom were probably old and falling apart while teachers were most likely blacks with small education, and maybe a few whites. It was also unfair to separate children ,who had nothing against each other, by their race.
Why do you suppose it was illegal for white white and black Americans to complete at pool?
It would cause relationships between whites and blacks and blacksmith in a higher position in society which could lead them to equal rights
Is there still racial inequality in the U.S today? Why or why not?
My answer- Yes because people in both the South and North are unhappy with the blacks being free. Statistics show that people nowadays have unfair prejudice towards their other race depending on where they live. Statistics also show that there are few blacks in schools where there are whites.
Could black and white amateur baseball teams play separate games on neighboring diamonds?
No because the laws stated that any amateur white baseball team to play baseball on any vacant lot or baseball field with a two blocks of a playground devoted to the other race would be considered unlawful

No person of color could engage in the practice art, trade, or business of an artisan mechanic, or shopkeeper, or any other trade or employment until he obtains a licence from a judge of the district court which would only be good for one year.

No person of color shall be permitted to preach to two groups of color people without special permission from the mayor or president of the board of police.

The total effect of the Jim Crow laws was meant to degrade black place in society because southerners were still bitter about the negro being freed, and having less political power

These unfair laws, that limited the legal rights of black Americans, were known as "Jim Crow" laws because they were named after a minstrel character which was a musical performer who portrayed black people negatively.
