They believe the story had not been told because of the color of his skin. It wasn't a big deal then, but when the Kushite pharaohs were white it off set everything and no one talked about it. They believed they appeared out of nowhere and they didn't find out about them.

They can't deciphered it because their is no rosetta stone or a way to depict it (bilingual text)
