Squamosal Suture

Between Parietal bone and Temporal bone on side of the skull, bordered in back by Occipital bone.

Sagittal Suture

Between the two Parietal bones.

Basilar Suture

The only cartilaginous suture and is located between the nasal cavity and the palette.

Lambdiodal Suture

The suture between the Occipital and the Parietal bones.

Coronal Suture

The suture between the Parietal and Frontal bones of the skull.

Metopic Suture

The suture between the two ossification centers of the Frontal bone, it usually disappears during development but is occasionally present in adults
