How much does MDPP cost

$29.99 per month. Only one MDPP is available per account. The charges appear on the bill as follows: MDPPINS $20.97 and MDPPSUPP $9.02.

What devices are covered

AT&T MDPP covers mobile devices that are connected to the AT&T wireless network and non-connected devices, such as Wi-Fi tablets or laptops. Once you select a primary device (a device connected to the AT&T wireless network with a postpaid monthly voice or data plan), you may add two additional devices, which can be either connected or non-connected. Additional devices can be added at any time after your AT&T MDPP purchase (claims for non-connected devices cannot be made until 30 days after MDPP enrollment). Add additional devices by filing a claim, calling Enhanced Support, or downloading the Mobile Locate app. For a list of eligible devices, visit att.com/mdpp. MDPP does not cover phones on other networks.

How fast will a customer get the replacement device

As soon as next-day device replacement for connected devices. Claims may be fulfilled with new, AT&T Certified Like-New, or other models of like kind and quality. To learn more about the AT&T equipment certification process, visit att.com/mobileinsurance. Claims approved by 6:00 p.m. ET are shipped and, in most cases, delivered the next day for connected devices. Non-connected device repair and replacement takes 3-5 business days after receipt of device by Asurion.

Who is eligible for MDPP

Consumer and IRU customers are eligible for MDPP. MDPP is not available for CRU customers.

How much are the deductibles

For connected devices, deductibles are: $50/125/199 per approved claim, depending on device model. For non-connected devices, deductibles are: $89 per approved repair of a tablet or laptop and $199 per approved claim for lost/stolen replacement of tablets or laptops.

Does mobile locate work on non connected devices

Mobile Locate for non-connected devices is not currently available.

What issues are covered by Multi device enhanced support

Multi-Device Insurance covers lost, stolen, accidental water damage, and out-of-warranty malfunctions, which could require repair or replacement on any of your three devices.

If customer upgrades to 2 new devices will both be covered at that time

Only the primary device is enrolled when initially enrolling in MDPP. You may wait to add the remaining two devices at any time after the initial device enrollment by contacting Technical Support, downloading the Mobile Locate app, or submitting a claim for the impacted device. This provides the flexibility to register devices only when you need them covered.

What type of replacement device will customers receive

Our goal is to fulfill claims with the same make and model. However, some models may no longer be available. When this happens, we attempt to match feature functionality and other device qualities when choosing a replacement. Replacement equipment is provided for loss, theft, damaged, and out-of-warranty malfunctions of connected devices. Claims for connected devices may be fulfilled with AT&T Certified Like-New equipment or other models of similar type and quality. Colors, features, and accessory compatibility are not guaranteed. For non-connected devices, repair service and/or replacement equipment is provided (at the option of the Program Administrator).

Do customers need proof of purchase when filing claim

Proof-of-purchase requirements are determined during the claim. If required, you may be asked for proof-of-purchase while filing the claim.

How do customers enroll other devices

The primary device is covered when you enroll in MDPP. Second and third devices can be added anytime by calling Multi-Device Enhanced Support, filing a claim, or downloading the Mobile Locate app. There is a 30-day waiting period (from the day MDPP was added to the anchor line) until you can place a claim for any non-connected device.

Is there a waiting period for filing a claim

There is no waiting period for connected devices. There is a 30-day waiting period for non-connected devices. If a claim is made on a non-connected device within 30 days of enrollment, it will be denied. If a claim is made on a non-connected device more than 30 days after enrollment, it is considered an eligible claim.

Can multiple devices be files in one claim. If bag stolen with tablet, phone and computer

This example counts as three claims. Each lost or stolen device requires a separate claim. Only three devices can be registered at one time.

Can customers use all the claims for same device

Yes. Claims are shared across all registered devices so you can use all six claims for one device.

Can non connected devices be covered even if with another provider

Yes. Non-connected devices can be from another carrier or from major retailers like Apple, Best Buy, Target, and Wal-Mart as long as they meet the eligibility requirements. Non-connected phones are excluded.

Can a customer have MDPP if they have MI and MPP

Yes. You can have any combination of these products at the account (not MDN) level. Seller Note: If a customer is already enrolled in MI or MPP and wishes to replace their coverage with MDPP, you must first remove the MI SOC (WPINS) and MPP SOC (QSBNDLMRC).

How many claims can customers file

You are allowed six shared claims between all three devices within any consecutive 12-month period, with a maximum replacement value of $1,500 per claim.
