System Restore

A MMC snap-in used to resolve problems related to unregistered components or missing DLLs. This snap-in is used to administer and configure COM components, COM+ applications.
Component Services

Windows Task Manager

Windows_Media_Creation
The Windows boot manager file when using UEFI. This file finds and loads the files needed to start booting Windows 10.
Winload.efi
Responsible for the logon process.
Winlogon.exe
The Windows OS files are still stored on the _?_partition in the Windows directory.
active
The __ command allows manual editing of the BCD.
bcdedit
The __ command repairs the BCD and boot sectors.
bootrec
The __ command is used to repair the boot sector of the system partition.
bootrec /fixboot

DirectX components fulfill this resource need.
DXDiag

Enable Safe Mode with Command Prompt
Tool used to organize and display the events or activities of Windows and applications. This tool is used to view the logs generated by the Windows operating system as well as Microsoft and other third-party applications.
Event Viewer
Pressing the __ key at startup will display the Advance Boot Options screen. This feature must be enabled in Windows 10/8 as it is disabled by default but is automatically enabled by default in Windows 7.

A system utility, which is useful for text editing.
Notepad
Windows tool used specifically for viewing performance statistics. It can monitor and report in real time and can save collected data in logs for future use. This tool is used to track activity by hardware and software to measure performance. It monitors hardware and software to identify bottlenecks in real time.
Performance Monitor
Used to monitor and manage printer queues for all network-attached printers. The Spooler service is one of the components responsible for passing print jobs from the computer to the printer.
Print Management
In Task Manager the __tab shows all running processes organized by Apps, Background processes, and Windows processes.
Processes
The number of times the monitor refreshes the screen in one second.
Refresh Rate
Allows you to view, update, and search for Windows registry settings. Windows registry is a database that contains various Windows configuration settings. Using this utility, you can modify, add, or delete settings. However, changes to these settings should be made with caution. A single wrong edit to the registry can stop the functioning of the computer.
Registry Editor
Will start the installation using the OS now on the computer. Also, the customer can refresh Windows 10. To reset Windows 10, the customer will go to recovery and use the Reset this PC option. When prompted, he will click Keep my files. Resetting Windows 10 will remove all installed apps and drivers.
Repair Upgrade
The number of vertical and horizontal pixels used to build one screen.
Resolution
Windows creates periodic ___ that will allow the technician to easily revert back to a point that was created before the technician uninstalled the application.
Restore Points
Load the Windows GUI without any extra drivers. Allows essential system programs and services to start up at boot.
