Rocky mountains

They span from Western Canada through the province of British Columbia and Alberta all the way over the border into the United States through the state of Montana Wyoming Idaho Colorado New Mexico Utah and Arizona. The decline of fishing and drinking water is due to the chemicals of industrial plants run up into the lakes. The city of Chicago, Toronto, Ontario, Detroit, Montreal, Cleveland, and Ottawa are the shores of the great lakes. The surrounding cities can get food like fish from the lakes.

River systems

The most important river is the Missouri River because it was one of the main routes for the Western expansion. The river that serves as a natural boundary is the Rio Grande because it is the border between Texas and Mexico. 31 US states into Canadian provinces

Appalachian Mountains

They are partially in Canada but mainly in the US. They run through the centers of the states so when traveling you would have to go around them

Death valley

You would find the Sandune's, salt flats, colorful rocks, and tall mountains. The type of clothing I would wear in death Valley would be thin workout type clothes and would bring supplies like climbing equipment and water. They are mostly in California and Nevada and death Valley national park. It has a natural flowing river which can prevent flash flood somewhat and is a national Park. It also has multiple unusual geography features such as the dunes and colorful rocks.
