Rocky mountains

They span from Western Canada through the province of British Columbia and Alberta all the way over the border into the United States through the state of Montana Wyoming Idaho Colorado New Mexico Utah and Arizona. Most of the rocky mountain range is protected by national parks status that stops the area of being damaged and built on Bjork to go on vacation to the Rocky Mountains you might see the Columbia icefield.

Gulf of Mexico

Goss warm temperature can be powerful Atlantic hurricanes causing extensive human death or other destruction. The oil and plate tectonics resulting in pollution. According to the tax led to tremendous increase of nitrogen and phosphorus. Some affects of tectonic activity on the area are earthquakes. Gulf of Mexico is beneficial because of trade from different countries and the oil industry producing money.

Denali

Tallest mountain in north America located in south-central Alaska. Mountains peak is 20,310 feet above sea level. Permanently covered in snow. The name Dinali means the great one. In 1876 William Dickie named it Mount McKinley. Alaska officially changed it to Dinali in 1975. More than 400,000 people visit the Dinali national park each year mostly between May and September.

The Great Lakes

The great lakes are so significant because together they make the largest group of freshwater lakes in the world. They are also all connected by rivers and streams. This water eventually ends up in the Atlantic ocean after running through other lakes then through the Niagara. The decline of fishing and drinking water is due to the chemicals of industrial plants run up into the lakes. The city of Chicago, Toronto, Ontario, Detroit, Montreal, Cleveland, and Ottawa are the shores of the great lakes. The surrounding cities can get food like fish from the lakes.

River systems

The most important river is the Missouri River because it was one of the main routes for the Western expansion. The river that serves as a natural boundary is the Rio Grande because it is the border between Texas and Mexico. 31 US states into Canadian provinces

Appalachian Mountains

They are partially in Canada but mainly in the US. They run through the centers of the states so when traveling you would have to go around them

Death valley

You would find the Sandune's, salt flats, colorful rocks, and tall mountains. The type of clothing I would wear in death Valley would be thin workout type clothes and would bring supplies like climbing equipment and water. They are mostly in California and Nevada and death Valley national park. It has a natural flowing river which can prevent flash flood somewhat and is a national Park. It also has multiple unusual geography features such as the dunes and colorful rocks.
