Horizontal Stretch/Shrink (Transformation)

A number,a, multiplied inside the function causes a horizontal compression (shrink) and 1/a causes a stretch

Sample

A subset of the population. It has statistics, which are used to estimate the population parameters

Independent Events

Removable Discontinuity: a hole in the graph of the function.
