Nearly all food contain water. Some examples are fruits and vegetables. Water helps with you elimination of waste, breathing, and carries nutrients and oxygen to different parts of the body.
Minerals
Nutrients that occur naturally in rocks and soil that can be found in fruits, vegetables, and grain products. The help with growth, healthy bones and skin, and regulate metabolism.
Fats
Nutrients that promote normal growth, give you energy, and keep your skin healthy. Some examples are avocados, nuts, and fish.
Carbohydrates
The starches and sugars present in foods that provide the body with energy. Complex carbohydrates are best for you body and include whole grains breads, cereals, fruits, and pastas. Simple carbohydrates should be limited and include candy, cake, and cookies.
