What happens to Mirabella at the end? What does Claudette do about it?

Mirabella is sent out into the wild for her inability to change. Instead of saying goodbye, Claudette packs her a lunch with a note on it.

She is the youngest of the girls, she is not progressing, she is disliked by everyone for acting like a wolf, she is exiled in the end

What is Claudette's first lie?

She says "so, I'm home." To her family at the cave. But she doesn't feel like it's really her home

Stage five

The girls are finally able to interact and move forward in their new culture. They don't miss or remember their earlier culture

Stage two

The girls realize they have to work to adjust to the new culture. This may cause stress, daydreaming, irritation, isolation, depression, and bewilderment

Stage four

The girls start to feel more comfortable in their new culture. They don't reject it and start to accept the new environment

Why are the girls at this home?

The girls were originally raised by wolves, their parents wanted a better life for them, the sisters at the home want to assimilate the girls into the rest of society

Climax

Claudette goes to the dance floor to do the Sausalito, but blanks and tries to ask Jeanette for help. Jeanette won't help her with the steps and Mirabella ends up tackling her.

Claudette vs herself. She has to decide whether to progress or not, and whether to let everyone know she is smart

What happened when Claudette went back to see her parents?

Her family almost couldn't recognize her, and they were proud but sad.

Jeanette versus Claudette. When Claudette wouldn't help Jeanette from Mirabella, Jeanette held a grudge and wouldn't help Claudette later on
