Fibroelastic membrane of the larynx parts?
Membrana fibroelastica laryngis is divided into 2 parts: membrana quadrangularis (in vestibulum laryngis) and conus elasticus (in the cavitas infraglottica).
Openings of sinus frontalis and sinus maxillaris
both meatus nasi media
The positions of rima glottidis in respiration, whispered speech and phonation
- In normal respiration rima glottidis is opened; -in whispered speech pars intermembranacea is closed, pars intercartilaginea opened - in phonation position the whole rima glottidis is closed.
Trachea name of cartilages, ligament and posterior wall
-Trachea consists of 15-20 horse-shoe shaped hyaline cartilages, cartilagines tracheales (anteriolateral wall), which are connected by the annular ligaments, ligamenta anularia. -Posterior wall is called paries membranaceus, it does not consist cartilages.
Upper and lower respiratory tract parts?
-Upper respiratory tract: nasal cavity, pharynx. -Lower respiratory tract: larynx, trachea, bronchi, lungs.
Name cartilages forming larynx (6)
-cartilago thyroidea -cartilago arytenoidea -cartilago cricoidea -cartilago epiglottica -cartilago corniculata -cartilago cuneiformis
Name the parietal pleura (4)
-pleura costalis -pleura mediastinalis -pleura diaphragmatica -cupula pleura
The 3 are that nasal cavity is divided according to their function
-regio cutanea (in the vestibule) -regio olfactoria (in the upper part of nasal cavity) - regio respiratoria.
Cavities of larynx
1. Vestibulum laryngis ->space between aditus laryngis and plicae vestibulares 2. Ventriculus laryngis ->space between the plicae vestibulares and plicae vocales 3. Cavitas infraglottica ->the widened space below the plicae vocales
Cavitas laryngis sagittal folds
Cavitas laryngis is subdivided into 3 sections by 2 pairs of sagittal folds -> vestibular fold, plica vestibularis (upper pair) and vocal fold, plica vocalis (lower pair):
