One time, I have suggested my commute member that to buy a 20 share of stock called PDD, but many of my peers were very conservative and think there are still many uncertainties in the market. They wish to hold on the cash. Therefore, many do not agree with my points. As a new member, I was very disappointed and feel that I not to able to contribute to the team. Long short, I look to go deep on the industry and even learn how do technical analysis on the stocks. Then, I talk to my team individually. and listen to each other's advice. At the end, we reach comprise that only purchases 5 shares of stock. 2-3 weeks later, the PDD Stock was going ok and we purchase a few more after that. For me, I like to push things forward, and sometimes compreiseed play a important role.
4. What is your greatest strength?
I would say that it's my time-management skill by far. During my senior year, I managed to maintain a 3.7 GPA, while at the same time doing a ton of different extracurricular activities. Specifically, I've volunteered, was part of the divest investment club, and start a tote bag company in our entrepreneurship class during the COVID-19. I'm a huge fan of scheduling pretty much everything I do. I need to know what I'm doing, when, and how long it's going to take me. This way, I've never missed a deadline, assignment, or any other responsibility.
Describe a time someone gave you critical feedback and how you reacted
In my business class, I was instructed to create some presentations for our business pitch. After my advisor reviewed my work, some of the slides required the additional copy, and he just had different design concepts in mind. He thinks the presentation was too wordy and give really very harsh feedback. He had a minor in graphic design, and since I do not, I listened to his ideas and incorporated them. I thought they looked very professional and in the following presentations, I tried to include those design concepts in powerpoint.
What is your greatest weakness?
My greatest weakness is that I get impatient when projects run past the deadline. I'm a stickler for due dates and get uncomfortable when work is not completed on time. To avoid this, I've started being more proactive and paying attention to how I'm reacting to make sure I'm being motivational and helping foster efficiency."
