~all muscles of superficial posterior leg compartment (gastrocnemius muscle, plantaris muscle, soleus muscle) ~all muscles of deep posterior leg compartment (popliteus muscle, tibialis posterior, flexor digitorum longus, flexor hallucis longus) ~all intrinsic muscles of plantar foot (abductor halluces muscle, flexor digitorum brevis muscle, abductor digiti minimi, quadratus plantae muscle)

common fibular nerve

~divides into the superficial fibular nerve and deep fibular nerve

deep fibular nerve

~supplies all anterior leg muscles (tibialis anterior, extensor digitorum, extensor halluces, fibularis tertius) ~innervates intrinsic muscles of dorsal foot (extensor digitorum brevis and extensor halluces brevis)

superficial fibular nerve

~supplies both lateral compartment muscles (fibularis longus and fibularis brevis)
