What is the first step in solving the equation: 4x - 20 = 80

Add 20 to both sides

How would you solve the equation: 2x = 24

Divide both sides by 2

How would you solve the equation: x/6 = 10

Multiply both sides by 6

What is the first step in solving the equation: 3x + 2 = 11

Subtract 2 from each side

Coefficient

The number in front of a variable

Solve: -2x + 11 = 31

x = -10

Solve: -5x - 15 = 55

x = -14

Solve: 6x + 13 = 13

x = 0

Solve: 4x - 20 = 80

x = 25

Solve: 3x + 2 = 11

x = 3
