Ideological Subsystem

consists of beliefs, ideas and knowledge of a culture and the way these things are expressed or communicated

Mentifact

make up ideological subsystems, and they are abstract belief systems passed from generation to generation (such as mythology or folk wisdom), and they tell us how to act, what to believe and what to value

Artifact

material objects, which are tools used to fulfill basic needs of survival and entertainment (such as arrowheads or spears)

Sociofact

regulate how an individual functions relative to to group - whether it be family, church or state

Sociological Subsystem

the sum of those expected and accepted patterns of interpersonal relations that find their outlet in economic, political and other associations

Technological Subsystem

composed of the material objects, together with the techniques of their use, by means of which people are able to live

Cultural Integration

The interlocking nature of all aspects of a culture
