Hide and unhide sheets

- Sometimes you may want to hide sheets in your workbook, so that only the dashboard tab is visible. - On the Dashboard pane, under Sheets, right-click the sheet, and select Hide - To unhide the sheet, right-click the sheet under Sheets in the left pane and turn off the Hide option. - bullet If you want to hide all sheets, right-click the dashboard tab, and click Hide All Sheets. To make them visible again, right-click and select Unhide All Sheets. - Drag floating items in the hierarchy to change how they layer over each other. Items at the top of the list appear in the front, while items at the bottom appear at the back. - With the layout container selected, choose Distribute Contents Evenly from its shortcut menu:

Legend Highlighting

- You can use highlights to call attention to marks of interest and enable users to explore your dashboard further. For example, you can manually select the marks you want to highlight and use the legend to select related marks.

Add views to a dashboard

- click the New Dashboard icon and update with the most recent data from the data source. - To add views from any worksheet in the workbook, find the title of the worksheet you want to use in the Sheets list and drag it to the canvas. - To replace one worksheet on a dashboard with another, select the worksheet in the dashboard view. Then, in the Sheets list, hover over the title of the worksheet you would like to use instead and click the Swap Sheets icon. -

Filtering

-Filters allow a user to visually isolate subsets of the data. Filters can be applied to individual worksheets in a dashboard or to all sheets in a dashboard. For example, in a view showing the sales price of houses, when you select a particular house, a filter can show details of the house in a different view.
