is a widely-accepted security measure that should be guaranteed in every secure system. It stands for Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability. Example: When Equifax's data was breached, the Confidentiality and Integrity of the CIA Triad was broken for more than 150 million people.

is the network of physical devices, vehicles, home appliances, and other items embedded with electronics, software, sensors, actuators, and connectivity which enables these things to connect and exchange data. Example: A bed that can read your body heat, tell you how you slept last night, can heat your blankets, and can adjust your sleeping posture. ( What would this be connected to?)
