Late Start (LS)
This is the latest time that an activity can start without delaying the project's completion as planned
Resource Relationships
Work activities that need the same resource and both activities cannot be completed by the same recourse. Ex: where the subcontractor has only one crew, so they cannot work on multiple levels at the same time
Physical relationship
Work activities that require the predecessor activity to be completed before the successor activity can be competed. Ex: Footing excavation must take place before placing the concrete in the footing
Safety Relationships
Work activities that would be unsafe or cause a safety hazard if completed at the same time. Ex: performing roofing while another subcontractor is doing work below them.
Preferential relationship
Work activities where the contractor and subcontractor have a prefered way or sequence of performing their work together. Ex: painting the walls first, then install the flooring, and then install and paint the trim
