What does it mean to be "in lieu" of logs and how should the paperwork be maintained?

The driver must operate within a 100 air mile radius. Anything outside of the 100 air mile radius must be logged. The driver must work no more then 12 hours per day. If they work more then 12 hours, they must submit a paper log. The driver is required to take a 10 hour break and drive no more then 70 hours. Paperwork must be kept on file for 6 months separated by each truck.

What are 7 items that should be checked during a pre-trip inspection?

Tires, Lights, Brakes, Permit Book, Airlines, Vehicle Damage, Air/City Horn, ALL Fluids: (Oil, Windshield wiper fluid, and Anti-Freeze)

- Sit down with the drivers and talk to them about the benefits about investing in a 401k . Ask them if they need help setting their 401k up and walk them through it. Have them review the 401k briefing. Follow up with driver shortly after to see if they need any help setting up their 401k plan.
