Click "share" when the file or folder is open and select who you'd like to share with (type their name or Google information).

HOW TO: find a file or folder that someone else shared with you
In Google Drive, look at the toolbar on the left. Select the option that will show you all the files other people have given you access to.

Shared With Me
The folder that allows you to see all the files other people have given you access to, but not files you have created.

My Drive
The folder that holds the files and folders you create.
Trash
The folder that temporarily holds all files and folder you don't want to keep. The files and folders stay here until you "empty" this folder, so if anything is accidentally placed here, it CAN be restored.e
