Purpose This law will let legion, and Paramilitary members do their job correctly and swiftly during raids. This law will also ensure safety amongst our citizens. Reason Over the past few weeks, groups have been raiding us constantly. Roman legions, paramilitaries have had to defend our city against the outsiders constantly. To add on to that, our citizens have interfered with our duties and have distracted our men from doing their jobs. Some have also gotten in the way of us killing the invaders and causing us to team kill our own men. This is very time consuming and many of us have died from team kill. This law will allow: During active raids, Roman legionaries and members of the paramilitary to have the right to kill Roman citizens that are outside the walls. This will ensure the safety of our city and our citizens. During any kind of warfare between our group and another, Romans that are legionaries or members of the paramilitary have to be on duty no matter what rank they are. During active raids, the city must be placed on lockdown. No one may enter or leave the city, unless they are a member of our military and on duty. The only people that may begin a lockdown are ranked Praetor or higher. During active raids, nonmilitary members must be inside the city walls until the raid is over. Exemptions Any member of the Senate may not be killed outside the walls during a raid. This includes, Senators, Magistrates, Praetors, and Consuls. Anyone the Consul or higher permits to be out of our walls may not be killed. During any kind of meeting, Senate meetings or Plebeian Assembly meetings, members are to be allowed off duty to attend to their duties. Only the Consul or anyone higher may allow any member of our military to be off duty during a raid. If there are less than 5 members of the military defending Rome in a raid, people ranked Consul or higher may grant nonmilitary members the right to defend Rome.

Lex Militarium Tabula
Military Advertisement The following law prevents legionnaire personnel managers from spamming advertisements and setting a general guideline to help citizens to understand the Roman Military to a better extent. The law will consist of three general rules for effective communication. Time-Frame, Textual Restrictions, and an Anti-Graphics Restriction. This law only effects military advertisement for the communications via Discord. Guidelines of Militarium Tabula: Time-Frame: Many Discord users have complained about the spam that goes on during the day regarding military advertisements from the same legion. This becomes a cycle and is continuous. It's easy as copy and pasting, however, if potential recruits really wanted to join a legion spamming "@everyone" isn't the way to go. This just catches their attention yes but isn't effective. Discord users should be able to venture into the military advertisements in their own accountability based off what the blurb is. Military advertisements as common as it should, are recommended to go on a cool off day where they do not post to ensure Discord quality. Logically, people would've joined the recruitment server already if they wanted to join. Textual Restrictions: This section just ensures quality and proper messages. Recruitment motivation should not blindly target nor promote themselves above another military faction. We are here to better ourselves as a group not degrade one another based on a personal feud. Recruitment should tag everyone and display a clear message of why Romans should join the respective military faction. Recruitment messages should not be immature but should be concise and clear. Message guidelines should be, what legion, who they are, their service to Rome, etc. Anti-Graphis Restriction: As good as it is to exemplify activity, restrictions should be made to graphics. Though this idea can be modified, it's not recommended. Not everyone can take pictures from a positive angle. Sometimes, it makes the legion look rather dumb. Graphics should be shown to newcomers in the respective military faction recruitment server. Though it is encouraged to say your military faction is active; if that is a true statement. Recruitment messages need to be concise. Adding in pictures ruins the general ambiance.

Section II This section states, that it is illegal to loiter on Roman buildings (roofs, and Julia steps.) Loitering on Roman buildings such as the roof of the building housing the numerous temples of our gods is considered to be highly disrespectful. Lex Romanum Gentes
The following law is formed in order to provide a more comprehensive system that the Office of the Censors may refer to for stable practice and consistent governance of the Roman Gentes. Definitions Pater/Mater: the denoted heads of any Roman gens who are responsible for the actions of all members Named family member: a member of the gens who has been given the privilege of a name Family member: a member of the gens who holds only family status and has not been deemed worthy of a named rank Servant/Slave: a member of the gens who serves the members of the families within the gens Gladiator: a purchased fighter from the gladiator college who has been properly registered and serves the gens with honor Office of the Censors: the collective officials who compose the office ranging from the censors to their quaestors Roman Gentes: the collective reference to all official gens sanctioned by the Office of the Censors Association In Roman society, there are four classes which a person may become considered: provincial, plebeian, patrician, or imperial. As a provincial, one may not associate themselves with a gens or participate in gens events as they are considered a citizen-in-waiting and do not hold the full rights of a plebeian--a full citizen of Rome. One may become a plebeian in accordance with the current laws governing that pathway or become a servant by selling one's rights to the family they wish to serve in order to freely associate with a gens and participate in gens events. Composition A Roman gens is composed of two family trees which the pater, mater, or both are caretakers. The first tree is the plebeian family which encompasses all plebeian members of the gens and are given the plebeian family name in the gens. The second tree is the patrician, or noble, family which encompasses all patrician members of the gens and are given the patrician family name. For example, Marcus Junius Brutus and Ledia Junia Varus are of the same gens, but their family names differ--Brutus and Varus respectively. In this case, Junius and Junia would be the male and female forms of the gens name respectively, and Brutus and Varus would be the individual family names--patrician and plebeian. For the immediate family of the Imperial Seat, there is a special classification of imperial in the social class. This class provides a new branch to the family tree, and the members are given the imperial family name accordingly. Registration In order for a gens to become a functioning organization in Roman society, they must first be registered. The Office of the Censors is given the task of creating a format for gens registration and family registration--registering the names of the individual families within a gens. One may only have two family branches with exception to the imperial branch of the Imperial Seat's gens. Maintenance It is the duty of the managing pater or mater to ensure their gens and its members are following all the laws of The Senate and People of Rome. The Office of the Censors will periodically check each individual gens--no less than once a month--for infractions of the law. The managing pater or mater will then be given no less than 72 hours to correct any issue the Office of the Censors has found before disciplinary is taken against the gens as a whole. Regulations The Office of the Censors has been given the imperium to manage the Roman Gentes in whatever manner it deems fit, but the passing of this law will restrict the management to that of this law and any applicable gens laws. Anything not accounted for in the laws of Rome which may be deemed invaluable to management may be applied at the discretion of the Office of the Censors.

Lex De Exitui
The purpose of this lex is to provide a concrete process to the act of removing a member of government. It is essential to ensuring due process and justice is maintained in the Empire. General Motions Exitui motions proposed to the Senate against individuals who hold office in Rome are required to provide legitimate reasoning for the removable of said individual. Any biased arguments or influence from external entities rather than Rome will forfeit the motion as interpreted by the collective High Council of the Judiciary established in Article IV of the constitution. In the case of vetoing an exitui motion, the rules set forth by the constitution shall apply with the addition that all exitui motions fall under the sphere of the Praetor Civilis. An exitui motion may be removed at any time by the proposer as any other piece of legislation. Inactivity and Due Notice If a member of government has an inactivity notice, then an exitui motion proposed against said individual for inactivity will be considered forfeit per interpretation as mentioned above. Should the notice of inactivity expire and the individual has not returned with a significant presence after a period of 12 hours beyond the noted return date, then an exitui motion on the grounds of inactivity shall be accepted. Members of government will not be permitted a notice of inactivity beyond a two week period, and they may have an exitui motion brought against them at any time should they give a notice greater than two weeks. Due Process Upon the proposal of an exitui motion to the senate, it will be the duty of the proposer to notify the entire senate through a mass communication entity where all members are present and likely to be informed. All exitui motion votes will be carried out on the senate trello board for appropriate documentation and enforcement; these votes may be conducted during an in-game senate session, but all votes must be tallied to the relevant cards on the senate board. With the passing of an exitui motion, the individual whom has been voted out shall be informed within a one hour window of passing. The removal of the person from the trappings of their office--herein discords, trello boards, ROBLOX groups, or ranks within--may be conducted immediately upon passing. If the individual has not been removed from their trappings after a period of 48 hours, the highest ranking member of government who voted either for or against the motion with the power to conduct these actions will be found derelict in their duty. Those who are found derelict of their duty shall be charged by the courts under the pretense of this lex unless a notice of activity was issued before the vote was closed. Contents All exitui motions will be required to have the following in its composition: A reasonable argument in favor of the motion A co-sponsor for the motion noted by their signature in addition to the writer Instances which may be referred to in the composition which are reasonable grounds for the motion Proper documentation of all instances mentioned previously through the use of sworn testimony, photo evidence, video evidence, or confession by the individual which the motion is against

Lex Romano Fidem
This law seeks to outlaw disloyalty and rebellion, discouraging all members of Rome from taking part. Everyone is obligated to be in the main Roman Empire group. Citizens of Rome are prohibited from joining other groups with the same time frame that Rome is set upon (Greek City-states, Gallic Tribes, Rome, etc). Official Diplomats/Governors are exempted from this. Fraternization, association with groups that oppose Rome or contrary is prohibited. It is prohibited to join any communication service, including discord, of any of the outlawed entities mentioned on this card. Providing weaponry to an outsider, sneaking an outsider into Roman territory, or doing any other activity that could help an outsider harm Rome or her people is prohibited.
Lex Corpus
This law states for the out-law of 2.0 bodies or any other packages besides the default package within Rome and legions. To elaborate 'within Rome' meaning, Rome's citizens also cannot wear 2.0 bodies. Packages make Rome look unrealistic. Even though in some legions already enforce this, there is no written law to establish that 2.0 bodies are outlawed. This lex will also outlaw the body package Roblox starts you off with, as well as all heads other than the default Roblox head.
Lex Orbi Subvenis Criminosos
This law will prevent any form of aiding a criminal. How can one aid a criminal? Arming a criminal. Hiding a criminal. Not reporting a criminal. Distracting law enforcement. Lying to law enforcement. Speaking with a criminal. Giving a criminal information. What happens to someone who aids a criminal. Anyone found aiding a criminal will be immediately detained and/or jailed. Upon their restraint they will then be interrogated for any information on the criminal.
Lex Aciebus
This law would prevent a Legion or any Legionary from standing idle away from the front lines. The only exceptions to this law are when a legionary must go afk with permission from their officer, and when legionaries are defending a position which the outsiders are attacking. Legions aren't always guarding the gates or bridge, some may be patrolling around the city and the walls too. The front lines are defined as wherever the raider assault may be.
Lex Roma Possessionem
This law, should it pass, will define the line between personal property, and roman property, in terms of legislation and other documents. Why is this being proposed? We currently have talks of a lawsuit being whispered throughout Rome. Although I understand the need for keeping your own, there should be a clear line in which something is no longer "yours", but in fact "Rome's". What is considered Roman Property? A document, of any shape or form, that has at any point been used as a general document for Romans to review in order to understand their duty. Examples: Passed laws, motions, referos, or other forms of legislation, as well as the constitution; a handbook or any kind, military or otherwise; trellos that have officially been used for roman logging. What is considered Personal Property? A document of any shape or form, that has not been used as a general document for Romans to review in order to understand their duty. Examples: Legislation that is still being written, and not proposed, legislation that has not yet been passed, any form of documents that were planned for Roman use, but were never officially used; trellos that have not officially be used for roman logging.
Lex Officium Militare
This lex makes it illegal to go off duty while wearing armor. Non-officers of a para-military or military are allowed to go off duty provided they have permission from their Officers. When off duty, all soldiers must go onto the 'ROME' team and wear civilian clothing. When a soldier is on duty, they must be on their specified team. If not, and wearing armor. It is illegal. Punishments Soldiers are to be informed and warned, if refused or caught again. They are to face punishment in court. Punishment given by the Judge.
Lex Matrimonium
This lex, if passed, prevents inter-class marriages. Why this lex? This lex is being written with one thing in mind: an abundance of patricians. There are far too many patricians and patrician gens. There are currently only a few ways to become a patrician. However, marriage is a massive means of which to bypass the others. As such, the officer of the censors prevents plebeians from marrying patricians until they become patricians themselves. What does this change? Patricians and plebeians can no longer be married to each other. Plebeians may still marry plebeians. Patricians may still marry patricians. Finally... I believe this will be a pertinent step in increasing plebeian numbers and decreasing Patrician numbers, and it will balance out the nobility of Rome to better fit it's numbers.
Lex Civilian Ordines
This purpose of this lex is to prohibit the commanding of members in a military or paramilitary by an off-duty officer of that specific organization. Illegal Action The following shall state what is illegal for a military personnel to do while they are off-duty: I. It will be deemed illegal for military personnel to undergo legionary activities such as guarding, training, dueling, or wearing armor while they are off-duty II. Military officers shall not be allowed to command there legionnaires while they retain the civilian rank if off-duty III. Contracted members of organizations which are granted the power to police Rome via the use of in-game tools are prohibited to use these tools while off-duty. This includes the following: Detainment of another civilian Arresting of another civilian Moving another civilian with the use of a tool meant for policing IV. Legionnaires shall not be allowed to defend Rome while they are off-duty. They must go on-duty to engage in the warfare necessary to defend the Empire.

Lex Incultus
With the development of several ways for citizens of the Senate and People of Rome to advance their knowledge of the laws, the passing of this law shall prevents ignorance from being an excuse for violation. I.) Ignorance of the law is no longer a valid excuse; not knowing the law does not mean you get off free. II.) This law does not prevent warnings but discourages them. III.) A person cannot be tried under this law until the law is over 12 hours old.
