There is no such thing as a perfect goverment, not even in the new country of America. Because of many reasons including slavery and diffrent view points on topics, the country went into war amongst itself. A country divided is still a country and will still have impact on things such as economics and socialization. A later sosilization issue this may cause would be the way that the two sides, even after the war, would view one another. And as for economics, wars cost money and money causes debt. America once again the same country still viewed the other side diffrently and as enemys or bad people. "I dont belive in sucsession, but I do in liberty, [the] southers will conquer, dictate its own terms and go back to the union," (sourse 2) The people who belive in the fownding father words belived while the sessionists had a total opposing view . Because of the polar oppisites within the two groups, this caused a social bubble that kept the two from getting along. The civil war had costed a lot of money and the southerners had felt it was "not right for [the northeners] to take our property to pay their debts,"(sourse 2). The money spent on the war was so brutal that it even caused a depression that would take many years to overcome to occur. The civil war was a very low point in THe United States of America and caused many social issues, one being the social status between the two sepperation beliefs and economic issues including heavy debt. America had to go through the ruff times to make it to the good.
