What is your favorite Universal picture from the last 12 months and why?
"Mamma Mia! Here we go again" or The Post, while I know Universal only helped with the international distribution is was still one of my favorite movies in the past year. It shows a woman in a real position of power, using it to keep the people informed about our government and the corrupt actions that happened in the past. It was great film and is poignant in this day and age about the use of media and news to keep the government in check or at least allow the people to be knowledgeable of what is happening in their own government.

What is an accomplishment that you are proud of?
An accomplishment that I am extremely proud of is the short film that I made in the my final semester at University. I wrote, directed, produced, filmed and edited the movie all by myself. It was a task that I completed in less than three months with nothing other than my camera and will to make the film.
What are your career interests and goals?
At the moment what I really want is to learn. I want to understand more about the production industry and want it take to run a large network like NBC. I love to solve problems and be creative and I want to understand how that can fit as a role within this industry specifically as a producer.
Who is the Chairman of NBC Universal Cable Entertainment Group?
Bonnie Hammer
Which marketing campaign have you noticed recently to be particularly strong?
Both the Good Place and the Will and Grace Reboot's marketing campaigns have been spot on. The good place pairing with Google to prevent skip throughs on ads was very interesting. And the sheer amount of marketing for Will and GRace, stirring up nostaligia for the show was quite effective.
Describe a time that you failed and how you handled it?
I flipped at ATV while riding in Greece. I sprained my ankle and cut my entire leg from hip to ankle. It was completely my fault that the ATV crashed and it was painful physically and mentally as I had hurt the girl I was riding with as well. I had a month left of travelling on my own and it really took a toll on my body and mind. But I understood that this was a chance I would never get again so I limped through the rest fo my trip, I could have gone home but that not me I couldn't quit. So I made the best of my situation seeing all the amazing site Europe had to offer and learned that I should never drive an ATV ever again.
What is your production experience?
I have worked for multitude of production companies. I recently finished a production and marketing internship at Green Buzz Agency a production company in Washington D.C. There I wore many hats I created call sheets, assisted editors and producers with pitch development, casting, logistical planning of shoots and even budget development. I also was a production assistant on set for many of their productions. I was a production intern at 4th Row Films a documentary production company located in NYC. I was involved in pre-pro for many of the documentaries they were working on at that time. I researched, wrote coverage, edited rough cuts, handled equipment and was also a PA on set constantly while working there that summer. That same summer I was also working for the company digital campaign solutions and was a production assistant on set for videos pertaining to a mayoral campaign.

Since the Comcast/NBCUniversal merger, what do you see for the future of television?
I think that the merger opens up new avenues for television shows that are created within the larger conglomerates. There is more funding, which means that more shows can be created, but I fear the the shows that would be created would only appeal to the general population and less of the fringe audiences. I do think that the merger is a good thing and it can be beneficial to the future of television but audiences other than the mainstream need to be taken into account otherwise the future of television could be looking a bit bland.
Why do you want to be a page?
I want to learn and understand every aspect of the media industry and become a better media professional through this process. I want to see what it takes to run a large network like NBC from all angles whether that be in creative development or business communications. I have been watching NBC content since I was a young girl and it has influenced by life both personally and professionally. I would be proud to start my media career with a company that not only inspires the next generation but provides a place for us within the media industry.
If you found yourself in an elevator with ___________, what would you say to him?
I would smile and say hello as a representative of NBC I wouldn't want to take up any more of their time than necessary.
Which one of NBC Universal's properties is the least profitable and what could we do to fix it?
I'd say that some of the cable stations could use a bit of a reboot just brand wise. USA has some great shows but its not necessarily cohesive. Syfy's rebranding for its 25th anniversary was a great idea to revamp the channel as the prior rebranding didn't go quite as well. I think "We the Bold" is an interesting slogan for USA however perhaps it is too broad. Instead of trying for a larger audience, USA should double down on the audience they already have and cater to their wants. Mr.Robot is a great shows as is Suits and Law and Order SVU but they don't necessarily appeal to the same audiences. I would try and find a way to make the channel a bit more unified.
NBCU Credo
In business to create and deliver content so compelling it entertains, informs and shapes our world.
Describe a time that you were given vague directions and how you responded in that situation.
In many of my internships I was given vague directions. For example when working for the digital media company JoinHighbrow I was told to work on their digital marketing and social media. No specific instructions, however I took initiative and decided to create a multi page social media and digital marketing guide for them that they still use to this day. Instead of handling the social media for the day I made sure to think long term and get their company ready for the next couple months to a year.
Sell NBCUniversal to investors in less than 2 minutes.
In this day and age, where this a constant barage of bad news and real life is getting everyone down, people are turning to their free time and their shows to bring a little joy back into their day. NBCU provides content that entertains and shapes our world in an amazing way bringing happiness and light through media instead of anger and resentment. Audiences are taking their down time seriously and NBCU provides a measure of escape. While it might only be for an hour, these programs reach out and touch so many people in different demographics ,NBCU truly creates the content that every man, woman and child are excited to watch and participate in. Whether one is having a good day or bad NBCU content can only make it better, and investing in NBCU means that your investing in the happiness of the people.

Biggest Strength and Biggest Weakness
My greatest strength is my ability to handle a crisis. I have an innate ability to thrive is chaotic situations and my time management is impeccable. I am usually the eye in the storm when there are problems that have arisen and I understand the necessity for a calm and level head when things aren't going the way one planned. My greatest weakness is the ability to know when to ask for help. I like to figure things out for myself and when I am given a task I try my best to understand it without asking others. I have always been a very independent person and sometimes it is hard for me to get assistance as I feel that it makes me look weak or stupid. However through my school and work experience I now understand that collaboration when done correctly can be beneficial for everyone.
When was NBC's first broadcast?
November 15, 1926
What is a risk you have taken?
One of the biggest risk Ive taken was traveling alone in Europe for a month. I was going to seven countries in the span of only a month with no one but myself to rely on. Even more or a risk was continuing this journey even after injuring myself in an ATV accident that left my right leg completely damaged. I limped through the rest of my trip, but I made sure to get to each of the countries I had planned on seeing.
What is a risk you have taken?
One of the biggest risks i've taken was traveling alone in Europe for a month. I was going to seven countries in the span of those four weeks with no one but myself to rely on. Even more or a risk was continuing this journey even after injuring myself in an ATV accident that left my right leg completely damaged. I didn't know if my leg was going to hold up for the duration of the trip or how it would affect my life after. However I chose to continue my trip and I hobbled through the one of the greatest adventures i've had so far.

Challenge you had to overcome.
When I was planning on studying aborad in London my program was cnaceld a day before all other applciations were due. I was devestated as it had been my dream to study in london every since I had read and watched Harry Potter. I knew that I had to make my dream a reality, so I calmed down and began to research and I eventually found a program that my university would accept. While i was devastated not to be part of the program I initially wanted I knew that in order to get to London I would have to accept the disappointment move on a find another way to get what I wanted.
Tell us about a team you were part of a group, but not the group leader.
When I was working at green buzz agency I was a PA on set for a major commercial. I was not in charge in any way but I was an integral part of the team. I made sure that I supported my fellow team members in any thing that they needed whether that be prop runs or insurance paperwork. I made sure I tackled the tasks that would make the work for my team members easier.
Could you describe a situation where you were disappointed with yourself or the work you did? How did you deal with that disappointment?
When I was working at one of my internships at a production company I was critiqued by my supervisor for not going deep enough on a project, while hurt I learned that you need to go that extra mile and I have used that mantra for every project since no matter how small or large.
Could you describe a situation where you were disappointed with yourself or the work you did? How did you deal with that disappointment?
When I was working for Green Buzz Agency I was finding contact information to get the licensing rights for a video we were creating. While I had gotten most of the contact information, I had not gotten all of them as they were not common knowledge on the internet, but I sent it into my supervisor who then found them through extreme measures. I was not pleased with the work I had done because it was not completed and I had not taken the extra step to find the information. From that moment I understood that I must always go above and beyond to complete any task given to me and that has stayed with me throughout my internship and with any task given to me no matter how small or large.
What is your favorite NBCUniversal property and why?
While Harry potter world holds a dear place in my heart, My favorite Universal Property, is the lineup of shows. More specifically my favorite show 30 Rock. Liz Lemon is a strong funny woman in a position of power. It showed girls like me who wanted to be in the production industry that there was a place for us if we chose to work hard and be ourselves.
