ANI and ALI Verification
• State standards require that 90% of calls be answered within 10 seconds. • You must be prepared to handle an emergency on any line at any time. • You must strive to do the following after answering a call: - Determine the EXACT LOCATION of the emergency. (WHERE instead of WHAT.) - Determine the NATURE of the call. - VERIFY all ANI and ALI data with the caller. (Lead the call NOT feed the call.)
