Lesser Omentum - an omentum attached to the stomach, part of the duodenum, and part of the liver and supporting the hepatic vessels.

Mesentery - the membrane, consisting of a double layer of peritoneum, that invests the intestines, attaching them to the posterior wall of the abdomen, maintaining them in position in the abdominal cavity, and supplying them with blood vessels, nerves, and lymphatics, especially the part of this membrane investing the jejunum and ileum.

Greater Omentum - the peritoneal fold attached to the stomach and the colon and hanging over the small intestine.

Visceral Peritoneum - The inner layer, the visceral peritoneum, is wrapped around the visceral organs, located inside the intraperitoneal space for protection .

Parietal Peritoneum - Peritoneum lining the abdominal walls and the undersurface of the diaphragm.

Mesentery Proper - a broad fan-shaped fold of peritoneum suspending the jejunum and the ileum from the dorsal wall of the abdomen.

Lesser Omentum - a fold of the peritoneum joining parts of the stomach and duodenum to the liver.

Greater Omentum - A peritoneal fold passing from the greater curvature of the stomach to the transverse colon, hanging like an apron in front of the intestines.

Parietal Peritoneum - the portion of the largest serous membrane in the body that lines the abdominal wall.
