Agnan imagine les journaux qui montrent qu'Agnan a tué sa maîtresse et le procès où il est coupable.

Agnan imagines the newspaper showing that Agnan killed his teacher and in the trial he is guilty.

Agnan prend en charge la classe. Eudes l'attaque quand Agnan essaie de faire travailler les garçons.

Agnan takes charge of the class. Eudes attacks when Agnan tries to make the boys do work.

La mère d'Agnan jette les chocolats dans la poubelle. Elle dit que c'est du poison. Agnan les prend pour les donner à la remplaçante.

Agnan's mom throws the chocolate in the trash. She says they are poison. Agnan takes them to give them to the substitute teacher.

Une vieille dame joue le jeu de roulette, et elle gagne. Les garçons partent vite en courant.

An old lady plays a game of roulette, and she wins. The boys run away quickly.

Clotaire écrit sur le mur pour attirer l'attention du Bouillon. Les autres garçons reprennent le jeu de roulette.

Clotaire writes on the wall to attract the attention from the principal. The boys take back the game of roulette.

Clotaire écrit très lentement les phrases. Alors, le Bouillon les écrit pour lui.

Clotaire wrote the sentences very slowly. So the Principal wrote the sentences for him.

Geoffroy arrive à l'école avec un jeu de roulette. Ça c'est comment ils vont gagner les 500 francs. Le Bouillon le découvre et il le confisque.

Geoffroy arrives at school with a game of roulette. It is how they will win the 500 francs. The Principal discovers it and he confines it.

Mlle. Navarin demande à Clotaire d'accrocher la carte. Il est tout fier.

Mlle. Navarin asks Clotaire to hang the map. He is proud.

Mlle Navarin se fâche avec Agnan quand il essaie de parler. Il est incapable de parler après ça. Elle le punit. Clotaire lui montre comment aller au coin.

Mlle. Navarin is angry with Agnan when he tries to talk. He is incapable of talking after her. Clotaire shows him how to go in the corner.

Nicolas demande 500 francs à M. Moucheboume. Nicolas lui dit pourquoi à l'oreille il veut 500 francs. M. Moucheboume dit qu'il faut travailler durement pour gagner de l'argent.

Nicolas asks for 500 francs from M. Moucheboume. Nicolas tells him in the ear why he wants 500 francs. M. Moucheboume tells him he needs to work hard to earn his money.

Nicolas mange son dîner dans la cuisine.

Nicolas eats his dinner in the kitchen.

La mère de Nicolas veut une bonne pour l'aider à servir le dîner. Elle veut servir du homard mayonnaise.

Nicolas' mom wants a maid to help serve dinner. She wants to serve lobster with mayonnaise.

On sonne à la porte et la mère de Nicolas pense que c'est la bonne. Elle lui donne un sac pour la poubelle et lui dit d'entrer par la porte derrière la maison. C'est Madame Moucheboume.

Somebody rings the doorbell. Nicolas' mom thinks it's the maid. She gives them a trash bag and tells them to re-enter through the door at the back of the house. It's Mme. Moucheboume.

Le Bouillon annonce que Mlle. Navarin est malade est qu'elle ne viendra pas à l'école.

The Bouillon announces that Mlle. Navarin is sick and she will not be coming to school.

Les garçons cherchent le numéro de téléphone de Francis Leborgne. Ils trouvent Francis Leborgne, le mécanicien (pas le gangster). Nicolas lui téléphone et lui demande de faire un enlèvement. Leborgne pense à un enlèvement de voiture.

The boys look for the phone number of Francis Leborgne. They find Francis Lebrongs, the mechanic (not a gangster). Niclas telephones him and asks for a removal. Leborgne thinks it's the removal of a car.
