What is scale?

A collection of notes in order from low to high. Example of C major scale: C, D, E, F, G, A, B, C... You can think of a scale as something like an artist's palette of paint. It's a subset of all available notes, chosen because of the way they relate to each other. Each type of scale has a distinct sound, and many people have particular emotional associations with particular scales.

How do you make a C minor and Major scale chords?

C Major: Count from C or (Tonic note) a distance of 4 semitones and from the third to the fifth 3 semitones. For C minor count a distance of 3 semitones (From E to G) and from the third to the fifth 4 semitones. C major scale is : tone, tone, semitone, tone, tone, tone, semitone

How can you build a scale?

You can build scales by adding more notes at specific distances (or intervals) above the tonic. The two most common types (or qualities) of scales are major and minor. Tend to be 7 notes + octave
