Charts (graphs)
A graphical representation of data.
Picture toolbar
Allows you to adjust the photo.
Notes master
Allows you to include any text or formatting that you want to appear on all your speaker notes.
Hyperlink
Allows you to jump to another location.
Effects options
Allows you to selecr the text to enter the screen in various ways.
Shift-clicking
Allows you to select seperate objects.
Motion Paths
Allows you to use predefined paths for the movement of an object.
Grouping
Allows you to work with several items as if they were one object.
Slide Show view
Aloows you to preview how to presentation will be played.
Task pane
Contains commonly used commands.
Slide master
Controls the formatting for all the slides in the presentation.
Slide transitions
Determine how one slide is removed from the screen and how to next one appears.
Outline Tab
Displays all of the text in a PowerPoint slide show in outline form.
Slide Sorter view
Displays mini versions of slides and allows you to arrange them.
Slides tab
Displays slides as thumbnails.
Notes Page view
Displays your slides on the top portion of the page, with the speaker notes for each slide in the notes pane on the bottom of the pane.
Blank Presentation
Feature that lets you create a presentation from scratch, using whatever layout, format, colors, and styles you prefer.
AutoContent Wizard
Guides you through a series of questions about the type of presentation, output options, presentation style, and presentation options.
Handout master
Lets you add items thast you want to appear on all of your handouts.
Animation
Movement of text or graphics.
Design template
Pre-designed graphic styles that you can apply to your slides.
Placeholder
Reserves a space in the presentation for the type of information you want to insert.
Organization charts
Shows the hierarchical structure and relationships within an organization.
Normal View
Simplified layout of the page so you can quickly key, edit, and format the test.
Handles
Small boxes that appear around an object when it is selected, used to resize the object.
Datasheet
Table that contains sample data and automatically appears when you create a chart.
Slide pane
The workbench for PowerPoint presentations.
Show Advanced Timeline
This feature displays the time of the animation as a horizontal line graph.
