Describe the characteristics of Chardonnay.

-Can be mediumto full bodied -Usually dry with medium to high acidity -Chardonnays can range from steely to oaky and buttery, fruity clean -Those aged in oak will have flavors of vanilla, butter, or butterscotch -Unoaked chardonnays will be more fruit forward with flavors of granny smith apple, pineapple, etc... -Gerard Tremblay Chardonnay is unoaked and therefore very crisp (not buttery) -The Far Niente is very oaky, but not buttery -The Frank Family Chardonnay is the oakiest and has the most buttery flavor
