how can you avoid plagiarism
DON'T CUT AND PASTE ANYTHING!!!! -Put quotations around everything that comes directly from the text, even when taking notes. -Paraphrase or summarize, but be sure you are not just rearranging or replacing a few words. -Read the original piece of writing then put it into your own words without looking at the original piece of work. -Check your paraphrase against the original text to be sure you have not accidentally used the same phrases or words, and that the information is accurate.
