pixel
(computer science) the smallest discrete component of an image or picture on a CRT screen (usually a colored dot)
graphics tablet
A pressure-sensitive touch tablet used as a pointing device. The user presses on the tablet with a stylus.
touch screen
A touch-sensitive transparent panel covering the screen. Instead of using a device such as a stylus, you can use your finger to point directly to a selection on the screen.
dance pad
Flat electronic device divided into panels that users press with their feet in response to instructions from a music video game
speech recognition
The field of computer science that deals with designing computer systems that can recognize spoken words. Note that voice recognition implies only that the computer can take dictation, not that it understands what is being said.
game controller
The input device that directs movements and actions of on-screen objects.
microsoft surface
a 30 inch table top display that allows one or more people to interact using the screen using their hands or finger
digital camera

an input device that enables users to scroll through and play music, view pictures, and etc on a portable media player

controls the movement and actions of players or objects in video games or computer games
wheel
game equipment consisting of a rotating wheel with slots that is used for gambling
click wheel
is used to browse through songs, pictures, or movie lists on a portable media player
digital pen
larger than a stylus, typically provides more functionality than a stylus featuring electronic erasers and programmable buttons
wii remote
motion-seeking input devices that use bluetooth wireless technology to communicate witht he Wii game console
signature capture pad
pen input device that captures handwritten signatures with a stylus or pen that's attached to the device
resolution
the ability of a microscope or telescope to measure the angular separation of images that are close together
audio input
the process of entering any sound into the computer
voice input
the process of entering input by speaking into a microphone. The microphone may be a stand alone peripheral that sits on top of a desk, or built in the computer or device in a headset
light gun
used to shoot targets and moving objects after you pull the trigger on the weapon
pen input
you touch a stylus or digital pen on a flat surface to write, draw, or make selections
