Preparation
Becoming immersed (whether aware of it or not) in interesting problematic issues that arouse curiosity.
Incubation
Ideas churn around below the threshold of consciousness.
Creativity
Implies making something from nothing or using something in an innovative or new way.
Convergent Thinking
The intellectual ability to logically evaluate, critique, and choose the best idea from a selection of ideas.
Divergent Thinking
The intellectual ability to think of many original, diverse, and elaborate ideas.
