Noise
any signal that disrupts the message INTERNAL DISTRACTIONS (inside of you) EXTERNAL DISTRACTIONS (outside of you)
Communication
shared meaning between two or more people using a symbol system
Verbal Message
shared meaning in written or spoken form (words)
Nonverbal Message
shared meaning using facial expressions, gestures, and body language (no words)
Medium
the form of which the message is given EXAMPLES: writing, e-mail, art, dance, music
Listener
the receiver of the message (does'nt always have to hear)
Speaker
the sender of the message (does not have to speak)
Feedback
verbal or nonverbal responce to the message being received EXAMPLES:facial expressions, gestures, and spoken responce
