Sheep Bot Fly- found in the nasal cavities of sheep and goats. About 1/2 inch long and looks like a honey bee. The animal will shake their heads, sneeze, and have difficulty breathing, and may hold their noses to the ground. Sheep ked- A wingless fly about 1/4 inch long and has 6 legs, it is a bloodsucker. Controlled by dipping, spraying, or dusting. Ticks- Most serious is the spinose ear tick. The animals loose weight and become listless. Young animals may die from a heavy infestation.
