Ressurection
Maui returns and saves Moana. Moana also realizes that Te Ka is the same person as Te Fiti and she restores Te Fiti's heart, saving her island and the world.

The Reward
Moana finally finds herself and she knows who she truly is. She retrieves the heart of Te Fiti from the ocean floor and yells out her name!
The Refusal of the Call
Moana horribly fails at sailing out in the open sea. She begins to doubt herself and if she is capable of saving her island.
Ordinary World
Moana is the daughter of the village chief. She is connected to the sea and she longs to go outside of their island's reef, but her father wants her to stay "where you are". Also, the myth of Te Fiti's heart is introduced.
Crossing the Threshold
Moana journeys beyond the reef, encouraged by her dying grandmother.
Tests, Allies, Enemies
Moana meets many tests and enemies such as the storm, Tamatoa (the greedy crab), and the tiny Kakamura pirates. She also meets her biggest ally, Maui.
The Road Back
Moana returns to Te Ka, but alone. She uses her newfound knowledge of sailing to guide her through the waters.
Return with the Elixir
Moana returns to her own island. She restored the heart, saved her island and the world, and made it back home safely to a grateful village. She begins to do what she loves and voyages with her new knowledge.
Meeting the Mentor
Moana's grandmother informs her of the journey she must take because she is the "Chosen One." Her grandmother teaches her to be who she wants to be.
Call to Adventure
Moana's island is becoming corrupt by a darkness. There are no more fish and they must fish beyond the reef. The ocean calls her.
The Ordeal
The two heroes finally make it to Te Ka. They are destroyed by Te Ka and Maui leaves Moana, because he does not believe in himself (death). His hook also cracks, so one more hit means it breaks. Moana's grandmother comes back and talks to her (rebirth).
Approach to the Inmost Cave
The two sailors, Moana and Maui, approach the corrupted island of Te Ka. Maui doubts himself and his abilities with his hook. But, after they train and motivate each other, they begin their journey towards Te Ka and restoring the heart.
