- Hitler and his wife committed suicide in his underground bunker in Berlin. He was first buried in a forest near Rathenau, Germany. He was only there for 8 months though. - He was then buried under an army parade ground in Magdeburg with Joseph Goebels, Goebels' Family, and Eva Braun.

- Hitler was a soldier for Germany so there were many times that he was very close to dead. - Hitler was almost shot by Private Henry Tandey, Hitler was wounded so Henry couldn't pull the trigger, even though he could've killed him right there.

Hitler's mental health

- Hitler went into his underground bunker in January of 1945, with only the necessities to live. He was going mad down there, only communicating with army generals - Hitler became insane when Germany was losing. This ultimately led to his suicide. - His health deteriorated quickly because of his insanity. He wasn't functioning and wasn't able to lead Britain in war. - Hitler was convinced that Germany shouldn't surrender because his ability to make decisions was impaired. - During his last months of life, Hitler did not trust anyone. During this time, he arrested his commander-in-chief, HermanGöring, for treason. He did say before he died though, that his wife was the only one he could trust.

- In his will, he gave everything to his Party, and if that was gone, it was to go to the state - Martin Bormann was the Executor of his will.

- Most of the information that is now thought to be known about Adolf Hitler's death was a result of the research of Antony Beevor. - Researchers at the University of Connecticut report that DNA tests of the skull fragments found in Russian archives were actually skull fragments from a woman. They were not Eva Braun's though, because there was a bullet mark on them...

Running off conspiracy

- Some people believe that he and his wife fled to Argentina or Antarctica. - There are conspiracy theories that Hitler lived to 95 with his Brazilian lover. They say he fled to Paraguay before settling in a small city in Brazil. - There's a theory that Hitler went to San Diego and he traveled through a number of buildings that formed a swastika.

Stalin's conspiracy

- Stalin never believed he committed suicide. - Stalin demanded to see Hitler and his wife's bodies so that he could know for sure that they were dead.

Theories of body disposal

- The Soviet camp at Magdeburg closed down, and the Germans took back that land. The Soviets didn't want anyone to find the body of Hitler, so they decided to get rid of it once and for all. KGB officer, Vladimir Gumenyuk, was ordered to dispose of the body. He and some other guys took it up to some mountains in a secret place(they were disguised as fishermen) and burned it into ashes. They then scattered the ashes down over a cliff. Or... - In the mid-1990's, the Russian authorities claimed that they retrieved the body of Hitler from the parade ground in Magdeburg, burned it and then flushed the ashes into them town's sewage system.

- There is a theory that Hitler cloned himself with the help of Dr. Josef Mengele. - People think he cloned himself because of his interest in biotechnology and his free hand to researchers for their medical conditions.

Alien/moon conspiracy

- There is a theory that Hitler was way above his time and NASA and that he went to the moon. - People said he built a secret bunker for himself on the moon. - There is a theory that Hitler was friends with aliens and went with them somewhere unknown out in the universe.

Why?

- Two days before Hitler's death, on April 28th, he received a report that Himmler head of the SS, had been in touch with the Allies regarding a surrender. - He committed suicide because Germany was losing the war, and the Russians were closing in. Hitler did not want to be captured.

- When hitler was found blood was dripping from his right temple - On May 4, members of the Soviet military counter-intelligence agency Smersh found two burned bodies outside the Fuhrerbunker. They didn't know who they were, so the buried them in a crater. They later believed one of these was Hitler, so they brought the bodies back to their headquarters. - The bodies of Hitler and his wife were lit on fire right after they died as asked by hitler in the chancellery garden by bunker survivors. - Hitler's body was buried 3 different times and then "gotten rid of for good" after he died. The Russian government kept his burial site a secret because they didn't want it to become a shrine. - Hitler had no known gravestone where he was buried.

- When hitler was sick he couldn't write his own name so he used a rubber stamp. - Hitler had major fits where he raged uncontrollably. - Hitler couldn't physically take care of himself. - Some ideas of illnesses that hitler had making his health deteriorate so quickly are Parkinson's disease, tertiary syphilis, and giant cell arteritis. - Eyewitness accounts claim that Hitler was in bad health the last 6 months of his life. They said he looked like an old man because he was worn out, and started to get tremors.
