wet cast increase kvp the most 8-10 increase dry cast inceease kvp the second most 5-7 increase fiberglass cast increase kvp the least 3-4 increase a wet cast creates more thickness due to adding water. when you have a thicker cast you need more kvp to get through the cast. also more attenuation takes place on a thicker cast creating a higher contrast image
