INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
It is the application of a combination of hardware and software used to retrieve, store, transmit, and manipulate data. Often in the context of a business or other enterprise.
DATA
It is the raw material that an information system transforms into useful.
BRICK-AND-MORTAR
It refers to a traditional street-side business that offers products and services to its customers face-to-face in an office or store that the business owns or rents.
DATA
The "raw material" in information. These are facts that are recorded and stored. It undergoes certain processes before it becomes information.
STAKEHOLDERS
The PEOPLE who has an interest in an information system. They include the management group, users, and IT staff members.
E-COMMERCE; I-COMMERCE
The buying and selling of goods over the internet. Include the two (2) types of Internet-based commerce.

INFORMATION SYSTEMS

BUSINESS-TO-CONSUMER
Consumers can go online to purchase and enormous variety of products and services. It allows customers to do research, compare prices and features, chack availability, arrange delivery, and choose payment methods in a single convenient session.

Database design, management, security, backup, and user access.

Develops and maintains a company's information systems. They provides technical support.

They work as amember of an IT department. Responsible for investigation, analyzation, designing, developing, installing, evaluating, and maintaining a company's informations system.
APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT
This team may include users, managers, and IT Staff members.
MAINTENANCE
Verification of the implementation of proposed system.
PROCESSES
a.k.a. the "Building blocks of an Information." It decribes the tasks and business functions that users, managers, and IT staff members perform to achieve specific results.
