What's the difference between Medicare and Medicaid?

*Medicare* is a federal program that provides health coverage to seniors (above 65) or those with severe disabilities, no matter what their income. *Medicaid* is a state and federal program that provides health coverage if you are poor.

Superdelegates--what are they, how are they selected, and what role do they play?

* Superdelegate standing is based on the status of current or former officeholders and party officials--only the Democratic party has superdelegates. *Superdelegates are not selected on the basis of party primaries and caucuses in each state. *The purpose of superdelegates is for high-ranking Democrats to maintain some control over the nominating process. *Superdelegates are free to support any candidate for the nomination; they are not bound by the popular vote!
