Yes, I believe the GMO should be available for human consumption. If it is completely harmless to us I would be completely fine to eat it. Unless it poses a threat to us and or poses a threat to anyone unborn child. If it were to change our genetic material, then no it shouldn't

A plant that has not been GM will have a better biodiversity than a plant that has been GM. Lets' say when a farmer plants crops and they are all just regular seeds there is a better chance for pesticides and herbicides to work. But when a GM crop is used there is less biodiversity which can be harmful because what happens when the plants become immune to the pesticides and herbicides? The weeds and pest will get out of hand, which is to say it has a negative impact on biodiversity.
