Testimonies include expert opinions and literary quotations. There are four guidelines for using testimonies:

Evidence Is the speaker's choice of evidence appropriate (i.e., does the speaker cite relevant statistics, quotations, etc.)? How is each point supported? Is the evidence sufficient? Upon what kind of sources is the speaker's evidence based? Are they reliable? Biased? Sound?
