A. Exposition When giving an informative or objective speech, the speaker's goal is to help the audience understand a topic, issue, or idea more clearly. There are many ways that this kind of understanding can be accomplished, including keeping the message neutral, using credible sources, and keeping the presentation balanced.

Measurable gain is the levels at which an audience responds to a persuasive message. A presentation may reinforce existing beliefs or sway a hostile audience member to a more neutral position. In either situation, the goal is to ultimately bring the audiences members to see your side of the issue
