whip pan

An extremely fast movement of the camera from side to side, which briefly causes the image to blur into a set of indistinct horizontal streaks.

long shot

A framing in which the scale of the object shown is small; a standing human figure would appear nearly the height of the screen. Shot from far away

Medium shot

A relatively close shot, revealing the human figure from the knees or waist up. About 1/2 of the person.

Shot reverse shot

A standard shot pattern that dictates that a shot of one character will be followed by a shot of another character, taken from the reverse angle of the first shot. "Conversation shot"

"type" Genres have exceptions, rules. Sometimes that is mistaken for cliches. Hollywood gives the public different variations of the same movie.

(amount of light in a scene) high-key: bright lowkey: dark

Bais, opinion based, liked or disliked

Title in Atomic Blonde

Bomb: cold war, Atomic bomb, Lorraine is dangerous. Inspired on the song "Atomic" by the popular 80's band, Blondie.

Camera is fixed, not moving or changing, lacking vitality

High/low camera angle

High: camera is aimed looking down (above eye level) Low: camera is looking up
