I don't measure up: You are God's masterpiece It's all about me: It's all about Jesus My worth is in what I do and how I perform: My worth is found in Christ I have to be a certain size/look/shape to be accepted: God accepts me just the way I am

Considering the following ways to keep your life in balance, write two to three sentences for each listed item on how you can apply these principles to your personal life. There will be seasons of your life that are busier than others. There's always give and take. Admit when you make a mistake and need to regroup. Be intentional and purposeful with your life. Know your priorities.

I have to remember to not get too overwhelmed at times by remembering that those overwhelming times are simply seasons. Whereas some times are easier and others are perhaps more intense, they are seasons and they will end and then a new season will start again. Whenever I get overwhelmed and stressed out because my life is stressful, remembering that it is just a season that will end eventually will help me to calm down and have some peace. For certain times of my life, I will need to lose some things in order to gain some things. By understanding this, I need to decide what I'm willing to gain and what I'm willing to lose. This will also help me submit to God's plan and knowing that whatever I'm losing is because I'm going to gain something that is better for me in this season. By admitting when I've made a mistake, I am able to admit when I need help. If I keep getting overwhelmed and not changing anything about my way of living, I won't be able to live a successful life. If I admit my weakness and need to regroup, I can begin to fix my way of living and also perhaps receive help from others who could assist me in doing so. By being intentional and purposeful with my life, I can determine the things that I need to do and the things I simply want to do. I can decide which things are truly important for my life and stop doing the things that are not truly beneficial or important for my life. By knowing my priorities, I can decide which things have more prioritization and need to be done first. For example, by deciding that my school takes priority over my reading goal for the year, I can choose to complete school work before I choose to pick up a book and read.
