401.62 Subject to paragraph 401.69(e), no holder of a Class 4 flight instructor rating — helicopter shall exercise the privileges accorded by that rating unless the holder: a) b)

Proof of completion for: - 250 hrs. helicopter PIC flight time (including 15 hrs. instrument time of which min. 5 hrs. shall be instrument flight time.) - Proof of completed written examination(s) within the previous 24 months - Completed and certified Pilot Training Record (PTR) showing required instructor training complete, after considering applicable credits, in accordance with CAR Standards 421.69, 421.77, 421.91 or 421.92 4. Letter of recommendation, as required, signed within the preceding 30 days by the holder of a valid Class 1 Flight Instructor Rating
